The beginning of her career began to write ten years ago. "But don't expect the story of an ambitious athlete. I'm just a mom of two kids and I started exercising more intensively to get back to my previous weight. I fell in love with H.E.A.T. program and I attended classes at our gym almost every day. As a client then. Unfortunately, I did not have enough money to afford this hobby in such intensity as I needed, and so a carousel of various training and retraining followed, both for exercise and for massages or cosmetics, " Iva recalls how she got from the position of "exerciser" to "exerciser".
Then, moreover, there was a fundamental turning point in life and the driving force was no longer just the love of sports, but above all the need to financially support the family. "I was alone with the children. At that time, my son was 13 years old and my daughter was only two years old, so I did not have the opportunity to go to work classically and the only option was to run a business and plan my own time.
“ A shared passion for exercise "
But soon everything turned out for the better. And as Mrs. Ivka already knows from her own experience and advises other women with a similar story – the main thing is not to go crazy and not give up anything.
"We need to keep working on ourselves and look forward with optimism. I needed a big shift when I retrained for a fitness trainer and Pilates. I found a friend Tomáš Pavíza, who was in the Czech national team in bodybuilding for seven years and taught me strength training“ " she praises the help from her partner, with whom she shares, among other things, a common passion for exercise.
At that time she practiced in more gyms around Pilsen, but in the end she chose a fitness Gallery, where she was offered to train EMS – electrostimulation of muscles. "We have been successful for two years. But then the covid period came and everything we built every day was gone, " Ivka says sadly.
"Today I have my EMS studio-Bodyfit Miha. I was given the space and time to put it on its feet, then I rented it for a year and then bought it. I see EMS as an exercise in the future. I call it an accelerator, and don't think it's jobless. Originally, machines were invented for medical purposes, and the ones I have are adapted specifically for the fitness industry. We have very good reviews and I am very happy about that. When I started exercising, I would never have imagined where I would get to,“ Hinterholzinger explains.
Plans for the future He added that he has many more plans for the future. "When I look back, I've had a very difficult journey, but it was worth it, so keep your fingers crossed," she concludes, adding that she also keeps her fingers crossed for everyone who plans to get in better shape this year.
