Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet has put an end to the years-long controversy about the famous door scene in the movie Titanic, in which she and Leonardo DiCaprio starred: Jack could fit in that door, but they would sink.

Speaking on the podcast ”Happy Sad Confused“, the 47-year-old actor's statement came a few days after the film's director James Cameron said that he also ”did not believe that Jack could survive".

Cameron had said he was conducting a "forensics" study to show that the gate could not have supported both, in the hope of putting a definitive end to speculation that Jack might have survived after the sinking of the famous ocean liner. The results of the scientific study will be shared in the Titanic's 25th anniversary special documentary. James Cameron and Kate Winslet are currently working on the promotion of the movie Avatar: The Waterway. The film was released worldwide on December 16.

After the earthquake, the roads here collapsed and there was a lot of damage. Large pieces of rock were ripped out of place. He uprooted the trees. It's the first time I've experienced something like this. This earthquake and fracture were effective in a very wide area in the region."
